Location: Dublin, Ireland

Hours: 39 per week

Salary: €41,821 – €66,100 incremental scale

Organisation: Enable Ireland

Closing Date: 31/01/2022

Enable Ireland is an organisation that makes a real difference to the lives of children and adults with disabilities in Ireland, and ranked 3rd in the healthcare division of the Irish Independent’s Best Employers 2021 list.

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Production Manager to join our team in Sandymount.

Overview of the post: The purpose of this role is to manage SeatTech production processes and to line-manage a team of technical and upholstery staff, with mixed levels of experience, reporting to the SeatTech Manager. Managing production processes requires implementation of workflow planning systems, stock management systems, and quality management systems - specifically ISO 13485 - to ensure compliance with the provisions of the European Medical Devices Regulations.

SeatTech has made significant strides in recent years to transition from very traditional manufacturing methods to advanced scanning and digital production methods (CNC milling/3D printing). The Production Manager will continue to lead these advancements. The Production Manager will lead the team in ensuring that production jobs are completed within agreed timescales.

The Production Manager must have the ability to act decisively to address challenges as they arise, and experience of team supervision in a workshop/work-cell manufacturing environment is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate exceptional planning & organisational skills, with the ability to take on responsibility and to support decisions taken, putting the people who use our services at the centre of what we do. If the successful applicant has experience in the provision of a clinical seating assessment & prescription service then there will be the opportunity to apply those skills.
