Clinical Technologist/Rehabilitation Engineer
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is a leading national centre of excellence, providing adult person-centred services that span the entire care pathway from post-acute rehabilitation services to end of life care, for people with complex neuro-disability and their families, underpinned by a strong research and education programme.
Compass is the Assistive & Rehabilitation Technology Service at the RHN. It is a multi-disciplinary service focused on providing electronic assistive and rehabilitation technology solutions to profoundly disabled individuals both within the RHN and in the community (Compass is the Specialised AAC Service for West London). The role of the Clinical Technologist/Assistive Technologist/Rehabilitation Engineer is to provide engineering support and equipment maintenance and setup to the team.
This is a rare opportunity to apply for a motivating and varied role with an innovative and supportive specialised assistive technology team.
This post combines both on-site and field based work. If successful, you will be working on-site at RHN in Putney and in the region of West London, with some work further afield. You will help deliver a high-quality service to our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective provision of complex technology, and work within a client focussed and dedicated multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team and will consider full time, part time and job share. Please apply via NHS jobs.
