An exciting development opportunity has arisen within the Chailey Rehabilitation Engineering Service for a motivated team player with extensive management and leadership skills to join the team as our Rehabilitation Engineering manager.

Chailey Clinical Services are a specialist paediatric service which serves children and young people with severe and complex physical disabilities. You will be leading a team of rehabilitation engineers and technicians who design, develop, manufacture and modify assistive technology to support our clients with their posture and activities of daily living.

Within the Rehabilitation Engineering Service you will work alongside clinical scientists, engineers, technicians and our Quality Manager. Within Chailey Clinical Services you will work collaboratively with our large multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and nurses to ensure our clients receive high quality, timely and appropriate equipment. We work with young people and their families throughout their growth and development into adulthood, offering the opportunity to develop collaborative and productive relationships with our clients.

The Rehabilitation Engineering Service is in the midst of an exciting project of investment into the technology we use to manufacture and modify equipment. This project offers innovation opportunities for the whole department alongside team and service development. We also have a strong training and continuing professional development programme to grow and develop our own experienced team.
