You will be working from our service centre and conduct appointments in clinic, people’s homes, day centres or schools within the area. You will provide high quality, service user focused assessment, prescription, handover, and review of manual and powered wheelchairs, children’s buggies, and associated seating, to optimise mobility, function, posture, and independence. You will manage your own caseload of service users and will acquire knowledge of a range of medical conditions and physical disabilities. Building and maintaining key relationships with referring services, and facilitating appropriate referrals and prescriptions to the service is key to this role.

You will be supported in gaining skills through in-depth induction, training, clinical supervision, ongoing CPD, and peer support from a dynamic, friendly team; this will include advanced clinical reasoning, problem solving, and complex assessment, intervention and prescription of wheelchairs, seating and pressure relieving equipment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal empathetically with service users, relatives and carers are paramount in this position; you will receive professional guidance from the clinical and service leads.

Who we are looking for: Working in a collaborative environment you will have the interest to a) develop knowledge of a range of medical conditions and physical disabilities and b) develop skills in complex assessment, clinical reasoning, intervention and evaluation, to apply to prescription and review of wheelchairs, buggies, seating and pressure relieving equipment.

If you are enthusiastic, dynamic and a team player, this could be the position for you. New graduates very welcome, as are those with experience in other clinical areas.

What we offer you: * A competitive salary * Employer contributions into a NEST pension or continued contribution to a NHS Pension, eligibility criteria dependent. * Company mobile phone and tablet * Free on-site parking * Company sick pay * Competitive annual leave allocation * Company vehicles provided for visits * Eligibility to access to NHS perks and discounts from leading retailers and leisure outlets both online and in store

We offer a fully structured and in-depth induction and training programme to enable you to become embedded within the role. This will be supported by monthly clinical supervision, a range of CPD opportunities, and being part of a supportive and dynamic team. New graduates are very welcome, as are those with experience in any clinical arena. The successful candidate will receive professional guidance from the Clinical Lead and Team Manager, and will be encouraged to develop to their maximum potential, in an environment that is fully supported and committed to ongoing development. You would benefit from working in a technologically advanced and dynamic environment. As an independent company we believe that every member of staff contributes to our continued success. All our employees can expect to receive on-going training and development in the form of new starter inductions, on the job training, in-house training and external training. We believe that equality is key for achieving our mission to provide the best healthcare service for people in their homes and in their community in collaboration with the NHS.
