Rehabilitation Engineer

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: Band 6 £30,40.00 - £37,267.00

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two rehabilitation engineers to join our team at the Rehabilitation Engineering Department of the Oxford Centre for Enablement. There are two posts available.

The post holders will provide technical expertise in the assessment and prescription of equipment for people with disabilities for the Oxfordshire wheelchair service and the specialist disability service. The post holders will design and manufacture seating systems and modifications for wheelchairs and related equipment, including the manufacture of custom contour seating.

We are looking for applicants with good mechanical workshop skills and previous technical experience working within a wheelchair service. Applications are welcome from people without prior custom contoured seating experience. We are looking for a flexible and professional attitude, with the ability to work in the service teams we support.
