AJM Healthcare is an established provider of wheelchair services to the NHS and private sector. We provide an integrated, outsourced wheelchair service to NHS commissioners, designed to improve quality and provide a superior service user experience while reducing costs.


The role:
Due to continuing growth, we are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to strengthen our team providing equipment maintenance, deliveries and collections to service users' homes across the Park Royal area. This role will, in addition, be supporting our commercial division for private customers.

A full manual driving licence is required and you must be willing to work a flexible day. This includes overtime and covering emergency call outs, which may include weekends on a shared rota basis. Owing to dealing with vulnerable people the position will be subject to a full DBS security check for successful candidates.

Who we are looking for:
Reporting to the Works Manager, the ideal candidates should live within 40 miles of our Park Royal Service Centre and have a maintenance/mechanical engineering background, preferably with experience of DC electrics, although this is not essential. Applicants must be prepared to travel, have good communication skills and are well presented, working a full day in the field to get the job done.

The position is full-time and the successful applicant should have at least a year of engineering experience. This position involves working a 40-hour week with on-call evening and weekend responsibilities on a rota basis. You will receive additional payments when working on call in addition to base salary. This position is working in a regulated environment and will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check.

What we offer you:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with earnings potential of around £19-25k per annum are achievable. This includes on-call allowances, overtime and a quarterly paid performance bonus.
