Wheelchair Service Clinical Lead
We are looking for either an experienced occupational therapist, physiotherapist or rehabilitation engineer to come and join our service.
In this post, you will be expected to provide clinical leadership to the team and to carry out complex wheelchair and seating assessments in both a clinic and domiciliary setting. You will form part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, and be required to assess patients as an autonomous decision maker in the clinical and diagnostic assessment of patients with complex health and social care needs. You will be required to apply a high level of understanding of the effect of disability on the patient group and to work within agreed service criteria.
We will provide you with opportunities to attend postgraduate training courses and updates as part of a program of continued professional development. The post will have a ratio of management time to clinical time of 60:40.
