The Webcast section of the website has been designed to integrate seamlessly with your choice of browser. The video player uses Flash, which is freely available for most web browsers.
You may find, if you are viewing the page from some NHS trusts, that the content has been restricted by the trust's IT policy. If you are able to load the webpage, but you are unable to see the video viewer, or the viewer is blank, this may be the case.
When you load a webpage that has video content, you should see a page similar to the one below:

The video player should appear in the centre of the page, the clip will normally start playing automatically. If this is not the case, if the player is not displayed or the clip is not displayed, try playing a video on a video sharing website such as youtube.com. If you are not able to view a video on the youtube website, it may be that the trust is restricting access to certain websites at certain times of the day, or certain types of file (such as video files) are restricted to preserve bandwidth. To find out if this is the case, contact your IT department.
If you are able to view a video through a website like youtube, but not on the PMG website, please do contact us with a note of the webpage you are trying to access.
If you have any other questions or queries about this service, or any feedback, please do let us know using the feedback form. We'd be delighted to hear from you.
