An introduction to assistive technology supporting people

This introductory course will be of interest to those who work in the field of Assistive Technology in either health services, social care services or housing, and is relevant to those who work in service provision or those based in business or industry.
Hosted by the University of Pittsburgh - Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology - Continuing Education with the Paralyzed Veterans of America:
This on-line/on-demand course offers the foundations in the assessment and provision of wheeled mobility and seating equipment for persons with disabilities. The essential components of the service delivery process including evaluation and methods for applying the findings to appropriate interventions and outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary team are presented and discussed.
